TUL Corporation ha annunciato la prima video card dual-gpu basata su due chip grafici "Tahiti XT" di AMD. La nuova PowerColor Devil 13 HD7990, di cui vi presentiamo le foto ufficiali che includono anche il bundle del prodotto, è fortemente caratterizzata, tra l'altro, dalla dotazione di 6GB di RAM G-DDR5.

Equipaggiata con la funzionalità dual-BIOS, la PowerColor Devil 13 HD7990 può lavorare in una modalità di default, dove ciascuna delle due gpu "Tahiti XT" opera a 925MHz, oppure in una modalità overclocked, in cui i processori grafici operano a 1GHz.

In entrambi i casi la memoria RAM ha una frequenza di clock pari a 1375MHz (5.5Gbps): ogni processore grafico ha accesso in maniera dedicata a 3GB di RAM mediante un bus a 384-bit, anch'esso dedicato.

Tra le soluzioni adottate dal costruttore per stablizzare l'operatività dell'hardware citiamo lo stadio di alimentazione a 12 + 2 + 2 fasi con PWM digitale e il cooler a tre ventole con heat pipe a "U".

Il kit di connettori di uscita della scheda grafica PowerColor Devil 13 HD7990, pronta per giocare in Full HD con i game basati sulle API DirectX 11 di Microsoft, è composto da una porta dual-link DVI-I, una singkle-link DVI-D, una HDMI e due mini DisplayPort.
