Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, VIA Technologies ha annunciato l'utilizzo da parte di Samsung del suo processore a basso consumo di potenza Nano U2250 da 1.3+GHz per l'equipaggiamento del mini-notebook NC20, visualizzato nelle foto che seguono.
Il processore č installato su una motherboard costruita intorno al chipset VIA VX800 Unified Digital Media IGP, che integra la gpu Chrome9, dotata di supporto in hardware di DirectX 9.0, e gestisce il display da 12.1-inch con una risoluzione di 1280x800, ed č dotata di 1GB di RAM DDR2.
Tra le feature del mini-notebook, che ha un disco di tipo HDD da 160GB o SSD in base alla scelta dell'utente, segnaliamo le connettivitā wireless 802.11b/g e Bluetooth e wireline Ethernet a 10/100Mbps, tre porte USB, una camera da 1.3MPx, un memory card reader 3-in-1 e una batteria a ioni di Litio a 6 celle che, in accordo al produttore, assicura una autonomia massima di 6.5 ore.
