Blizzard ha ufficializzato i requisiti richiesti ai PC per poter eseguire il titolo Diablo IV in base a quattro differenti impostazioni grafiche.
Più in dettaglio, Blizzard ha considerato i seguenti scenari d'uso:
- Risoluzione 1080p, impostazioni grafiche di livello basso, 30fps
- Risoluzione 1080p, impostazioni grafiche di livello medio, 60fps
- Risoluzione 1080p, impostazioni grafiche di livello alto, 60fps
- Risoluzione 4K, impostazioni grafiche di livello ultra, 60fps
Per fissare le idee, i tester di Blizzard consigliano una configurazione dotata di una CPU Intel Core i5-4670K o AMD Ryzen 1300X, e inoltre di 16GB di RAM e di una GeForce GTX 970 o Radeon RX 470 per giocare in Full HD e con impostazioni grafiche di livello medio e con un frame rate pari a 60fps.
Per giocare, invece, a 60fps in 4K e con impostazioni grafiche di livello ultra e frame occorre un processore Intel Core i7-8700K o AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 32GB di RAM e una NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (o una qualsiasi GeForce RTX 40 con DLSS3 attivato) oppure una Radeon RX 6800 XT.

Diablo IV will attempt to run on hardware below minimum specifications, including HDDs, dual-core CPUs, and Integrated GPUs. However, the game experience may be significantly diminished.
Il rilascio di Diablo IV è pianificato per il giorno 6 giugno 2023 non soltanto per la piattaforma PC ma anche per PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One.
