corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable
graphics processor technologies, today announced its support for AMD’s
vision to apply the power and flexibility of the PC to enable enhanced
digital media experiences for digital entertainment. As part of this
vision, AMD plans to extend the professional AMD LIVE! brand to
full-featured consumer multimedia desktop and notebook PCs expected to
be delivered in mid-2006.

NVIDIA expects that the NVIDIA GeForce FX, NVIDIA GeForce 6-Series
and NVIDIA GeForce 7-Series desktop and notebook graphics processing
units (GPUs) as well as the Company’s NVIDIA nForce4 core-logic
solutions, will be complementary with AMD LIVE! This includes hardware
and software for both 32-bit and 64-bit computing environments and
industry-leading technologies such as NVIDIA SLI multi-GPU capability
and NVIDIA Pure Video.
