Queste nuove schede di memoria sono state sviluppate per abbinare le necessità di prestazioni tipiche dei più recenti prodotti di elettronica di consumo portatili a prezzi accessibili.

Le schede della famiglia Premier sono state sviluppate pensando proprio a quegli utenti che ricercano capacità e velocità, abbinando un costo abbordabile.

Le nuove schede memoria Premier SDHC e SDXC rappresentano una soluzione economica per quegli utenti che vogliono raggiungere le velocità dello standard UHS-I UI con un livello di prezzo comparabile a quello delle vecchie schede classe 10. Velocità di lettura sequenziali sino a 64 GB, abbinate a velocità di scrittura sequenziali che raggiungono rispettivamente 50 e 33 MB al secondo, con IOPS di lettura e scrittura random pari a 1300 e 100, sono le caratteristiche principali di questi modelli. Tali specifiche permettono alle memorie Premier di gestire agevolmente la maggior parte delle richieste in termini di capacità di elaborazione e archiviazione dei dati richieste dalle moderne fotocamere digitali.

Le schede di memoria Premier microSDHC/SDXC rispecchiano i requisiti dello standard Secure Digital Association (SD) versione 3.0, con velocità allineata alle specifiche UHS-I U1. Le velocità di lettura e scrittura sequenziali sono pari rispettivamente a 50 e 33 MB al secondo, mentre per le letture e scritture random si registrano 1400 e 100 IOPS. Queste memorie sono indicate per gli utenti che scattano immagini ad alta risoluzione e registrano video. Sono disponibili 3 diverse opzioni per il package: solo scheda di memoria; scheda con adattatore SD oppure con lettore.

Tutte le memorie della serie Premier beneficiano di alcune funzionalità accessorie supplementari per la protezione, tra le quali la resistenza ai raggi X, a temperature estreme, la correzione degli errori ECC e uno switch per evitare la scrittura accidentale dei dati.

Disponibilità
Le schede memoria Premier microSDHC UHS-I verranno proposte in capacità di 8, 16 oppure 32 Gbytes; al pari delle versioni Premier SDHC UHS-I. Per i modelli Premier SDXC e microSDXC UHS-I sarà resa disponibile solo la capacità di 64 Gbytes. Tutte queste memorie verranno commercializzate attraverso agenti designati e distributori.

The Premier microSDHC/SDXC memory cards comply with the Secure Digital Association (SD) version 3.0 standard, at a speed class rating of UHS-I U1. Sequential read and write speeds are 50 and 33 MB/second respectively, and random read and write IOPS are 1400 and 100. They are remarkably suitable for users who enjoy high definition photography and video recording. Three different packaging options are provided: single memory card, card with SD adapter, and card with reader.

All Premier cards benefit from added protective features, including: X-ray proof construction, resistance to extreme temperatures, error correcting code (ECC) and write-switch protection functions.

Availability
The new microSDHC UHS-I memory cards will be offered in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities, and the new Premier SDHC UHS-I memory cards will be offered in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities. Premier SDXC and microSDXC UHS-I memory cards will be in 64GB only. All will be sold through designated agents and distributors.
