Apple ha annunciato che in un solo giorno più di un milione di utenti ha acquistato e scaricato Mac OS X Lion, l’ottava importante versione del sistema operativo più evoluto al mondo. Lion è disponibile sul Mac App Store a €23.99 e gli utenti lo stanno acquistando più velocemente di qualsiasi altra release OS nella storia di Apple.

"Lion è partito alla grande, i commenti degli utenti e la reazione dell’intero settore sono stati fantastici," ha dichiarato Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President Worldwide Product Marketing di Apple. "Lion rappresenta un enorme passo avanti per le sue innovative funzioni, ma anche perché è incredibilmente facile per gli utenti aggiornare il proprio Mac con il miglior OS che abbiamo mai realizzato."

Disponibile in 123 Paesi, il Mac App Store regala la rivoluzionaria esperienza dell’App Store anche agli utenti Mac, che possono ora trovare nuove, fantastiche app, acquistarle con un account iTunes, scaricarle e installarle in un unico passaggio. Il Mac App Store offre app nelle categorie Istruzione, Giochi, Grafica e design, Mode e tendenze, Produttività, Utility e tante altre.
