VERTEX3D ha annunciato le video card denominate VTX3D HD6670 Digital Streamer Edition e VTX3D HD6570 Digital Streamer Edition, due soluzioni basate rispettivamente sulle gpu Radeon HD6670 e HD6570 di AMD e caratterizzate dalla dotazione di un sintonizzatore TV dedicato al segnale televisivo di tipo DVB-T non criptato, che permette di conseguenza la fruizione dei programmi televisivi con qualità SD o HD in funzione della definizione del servizio offerto dal broadcaster.

Dal punto di vista della configurazione dei componenti elettronici, la gpu della scheda video VTX3D HD6670 Digital Streamer Edition lavora a 800MHz e la memoria locale (1GB di G-DDR5) a 1000MHz (tali valori sono perfettamente allineati a quelli fissati per l'implementazione reference della HD6670, ndr). La frequenza di lavoro del processore grafico della VTX3D HD6570 Digital Streamer Edition è invece pari a 650MHz, mentre quella della memoria RAM (1GB di DDR3) a 2 x 667MHz, dove 667MHz rappresenta il valore fisico della frequenza di clock.

Tra le tecnologie supportate da entrambe le schede citiamo Microsoft DirectX 11, AMD HD3D (finalizzata alla ottimizzazione del playback dei contenuti su Blu-ray in 3D), Unified Video Decoder 3 (UVD3), che migliora la resa dei filmati in HD memorizzati su Blu-ray e non soltanto, HDMI 1.4 e AMD App Acceleration, che velocizza alcune eleborazioni, come quelle legate alla codifica e alla decodifica video, poichè sfrutta la GPU per l'esecuzione di alcuni task normalmente in carico alla CPU.
