ASUS ha lanciato la nuova gamma di TV Monitor T1. Come si evince dalla denominazione, si tratta di una linea di prodotti in grado di offrire sia le funzionalità che sono tipiche di un monitor per desktop che quelle di una TV LCD capace di elaborare le trasmissioni in HD e di eseguire il playback dei supporti Blu-ray in Full HD, ovvero alla risoluzione di 1920x1080.

Al momento la gamma T1 include tre modelli widescreen siglati 22T1E, 24T1E e 27T1E e caratterizzati da una dimensione del pannello pari rispettivamente a 21.5-inch, 23.6-inch e 27-inch. Tutte le device sono caratterizzate dalla capacità di visualizzare fino a 16.7 milioni di colori, da un un rapporto di contrasto di 20.000:1, da una luminosità di 300cd/m2 e da un tempo di risposta pari a 5ms.

Il TV Tuner integrato riceve sia il segnale televisivo digitale (DVB-T) che quello analogico (PAL/SECAM); è infine molto ricca la dotazione in termini di porte di I/O, tra le quali segnaliamo 2 HDMI, 2 SCART, una D-Sub o VGA, una S-Video e una composita.

The T1 Series is equipped with an integrated TV tuner that receives both digital (DVB-T) and analog (PAL/SECAM) signals. It supports all common TV functions, delivering a complete HD TV watching experience. The T1 Series supports Full HD 1080p (1920x1080) and sports a pair of HDMI inputs, enabling the delivery of the highest quality content from Blu-ray Disc players through a single cable.
