Mediante il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, MSI ha annunciato ufficialmente il notebook gaming-oriented siglato GX733 (cfr. le foto seguenti). La nuova soluzione di MSI è basata su un processore dual-core della linea AMD Turion X2 Ultra a cui sono stati abbinati fino a 4GB di RAM DDR2 e una scheda grafica con gpu ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 e 512MB di RAM G-DDR3 on board.

Il display è stato realizzato con l'ausilio di un pannello LCD da 17-inch in tecnologia WUXGA ACV (Amazing Crystal Vision); tra le altre feature di questo portatile, che esegue il Sistema Operativo Windows Vista Home Premium, vi sono l'audio HD a 4 canali più subwoofer, un hard drive SATA con capacità variabile da 160GB a 500GB, un card reader 4-in-1 (per memory card di tipo SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro), le connettività 802.11b/g/n e Gigabit Ethernet, ed infine il supporto della tecnologia Exclusive Turbo Drive Engine, che permette di incrementare "al volo" la frequenza di clock della cpu, e quindi il livello di prestazioni da essa offerto, con la semplice pressione su un pulsante della tastiera.
