Notepad++ drops (stops running under) Windows XP due to technical reasons. Notepad++ 7.9.2 is the last version to run on Windows XP.
Also, Notepad++ License GPL has been updated from version 2.0 to version 3.0.
The modern style file/folder dialogs (save/open/browse) are enhanced, several regressions are fixed and more enhancements & bug-fixes are included in this version. Please check the change log in the download page for more details.
